A tragic incident occurred in Sao Paulo's Vinhedo on Friday, where a passenger plane crashed, carrying dozens of passengers. The local firefighters corps confirmed the crash, yet specific details about the number of passengers remain unreported.
Brazil's TV GloboNews captured alarming footage of the crash site, displaying a large blaze and smoke billowing from what appeared to be remnants of the fuselage. Additional footage showed the plane spiraling downward as it fell to the ground.
Efforts to gather more information have been stymied, as Brazil's airport authority Infraero has not provided confirmation following inquiries from the Associated Press. Moreover, no local airlines have reported one of their planes as missing.
