Larsen & Toubro's buildings and factories (B&F) business vertical has secured a substantial order valued between Rs 1,000 to 2,500 crore. The project involves constructing a state-of-the-art automobile manufacturing plant near Bengaluru, adhering to IGBC norms. This information was disclosed in the company's stock market filing.

The scope of this project includes comprehensive design, execution of civil, structural, architectural, and MEPF (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Firefighting) services. The company categorized the significant project under its classifications that include large, major, mega, and ultra-mega projects.

L&T's buildings and factories vertical has extensive expertise in executing complex EPC projects across diverse sectors. Recently, L&T's precision engineering systems vertical won an order to partially construct two Fleet Support Ships for Hindustan Shipyard Limited, intended for the Indian Navy. With a market cap of USD 27 billion, L&T continues to lead in its core areas, buoyed by a customer-centric approach and a relentless pursuit of quality.
