New Features in the RRTS Connect App Revolutionize Travel Experience

The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has introduced several new features in the RRTS Connect application to enhance passenger experience on Namo Bharat trains. The updates include ticket booking, live train tracking, and station navigation. Passengers can access comprehensive travel information, last-mile connectivity options, and station facilities through the app.

The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has rolled out several innovative updates to the RRTS Connect application, aiming to streamline the travel experience for passengers on Namo Bharat trains. According to a statement released on Saturday, the app now features ticket booking, live train tracking, and enhanced station navigation options.

The app, available on Google Play and the Apple Store, allows passengers to book journey tickets through the 'plan your journey' feature, with payments accepted via UPI, debit or credit card, and net banking. Users can also review their transaction history and download invoices.

Among the new additions is a live train tracking feature, which provides real-time updates on train status and availability within the next 30 minutes. The app also includes a timetable of train services, feeder bus information, and options to book rides via the Rapido app, addressing the need for last-mile connectivity. Furthermore, the app offers extensive details on station facilities such as restroom availability, parking, platform information, and nearby attractions. A lost and found feature and contact information for station control rooms are also provided.
