New Delhi [India], July 27: Shrachi Sports, a trailblazer in sports promotion and development, today revealed its acquisition of Rajasthan United, now rebranded as Shrachi Rajasthan Tigers. This strategic move aims to bolster Shrachi's footprint in football and underscores its dedication to nurturing sporting talent. The acquisition is pending statutory clearances from AIFF, FIFA, and other regulatory bodies. The announcement took place at the Press Club of India.

In an ambitious initiative, Shrachi Sports launched 'Athlead,' a nationwide program designed to elevate sports at the grassroots level. The program aims to revolutionize coaching, promote sports sciences, and create opportunities in sports management, setting new standards in sports development. Former cricket legend Sandeep Patil, the chief guest, emphasized the significance of the initiative, stating, "Cricket has evolved, as has the approach to sports. Athlead will propel Indian athletes to global contention in diverse sports."

Devendra Jhajharia, President of the Paralympic Committee of India, hailed Shrachi Sports for scripting a new chapter in India's sporting history. Shrachi's partnership with YOS Sports Health Specialists will facilitate the establishment of high-performance sports science and medicine centers as well as rehabilitation centers.

Rahul Todi, Managing Director of Shrachi Group, outlined the vision to transform India's sports landscape through innovation and excellence, emphasizing the creation of a comprehensive ecosystem to nurture and empower talent. Tamal Ghosal, Chairman of Shrachi Sports, echoed this sentiment, noting that Athlead is set to revolutionize how sports are taught and perceived in India.

The event also marked the launch of the Athlead International School in Pailan, West Bengal, with further plans for schools in Alwar, Rajasthan, and beyond, aligning with the National Education Policy 2020. These initiatives are designed to support and promote the Khelo India campaign launched by the Government of India.
