Rajasthan Government to Lease Helicopter for VIP Flights at Rs 23.79 Crore Annually

The Rajasthan government will allocate Rs 23.79 crore annually to lease a helicopter for VIP flights from a private company, the state assembly announced.

The government disclosed that it lacks its own aircraft, having spent Rs 76.46 crore on helicopter services between 2020-21 and 2023-24.

Congress MLA Shikha Meel Barala stated that purchasing a helicopter might be more economical in the long run.
