Jio Launches 'Freedom Offer' with 30% Discount for New AirFiber Users

Jio has unveiled a 30 percent discount 'freedom offer' for new AirFiber users, promoting its rapidly growing home broadband and entertainment service, JioFiber or AirFiber. This initiative aims to accelerate the digitization of Indian homes, providing affordable connectivity solutions.

With over 1.2 crore homes already connected, JioFiber or AirFiber continues to expand at a swift rate. To encourage more households to join the digital transformation, the company offers a significant discount on JioAirFiber plans. New users will benefit from a Rs 1,000 installation charge waiver between July 26 and August 15.

The AirFiber service, launched in 2023 during Ganesh Chaturthi, leverages Jio's 5G Standalone Access services. The dedicated network slice for 5G Fixed Wireless Access ensures efficient network management, even as average users consume approximately 400GB of data monthly.

JioAirFiber delivers fibre-like speed without the need for wired connections. By simply plugging in and turning on the device, users can establish a personal Wi-Fi hotspot at home. It enables high-speed connectivity of up to 1 Gbps for multiple devices, such as smartphones, PCs, tablets, smart TVs, and set-top boxes, without compromising speed.
