The company reported that this year's Prime Day saw the highest number of Prime members shopping, marking a 24% increase compared to Prime Day 2023. The two and half-weeks leading up to the event also saw the highest-ever Prime membership signups.

More than 65% of small and medium businesses from tier-2 and tier-3 cities recorded sales during Prime Day 2024. According to Akshay Sahi, Head of Amazon Prime, Delivery, and Returns Experiences, India and Emerging Markets, Prime members purchased more items than on any previous Prime Day, and the event recorded the highest number of same-day deliveries.
