Tragic Nepal Plane Crash: 18 Killed Including Family of Three

A tragic plane crash in Nepal has claimed the lives of 18 people, including three family members. The accident occurred shortly after the Bombardier CRJ-200 aircraft, operated by Saurya Airlines, took off from Tribhuvan International Airport on its way to Pokhara International Airport for regular maintenance.
The victims included technician Manu Raj Sharma, his wife Priza Khatiwada, and their four-year-old son Adhi Raj Sharma. Initially misidentified as airline employees, Priza and her son were later confirmed to be passengers.
Footage of the incident showed the plane engulfed in flames and smoke. Emergency services rushed to the scene, where 15 individuals were pronounced dead on the spot and three more succumbed to their injuries in hospital. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli expressed his condolences and hurried to the crash site to seek answers from the Civil Aviation Authority.
