Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Wednesday held a strategic meeting with an 18-member delegation from Japan's Shizuoka Prefecture in Gandhinagar.
The delegation, led by Assembly Member Atsuyuki Rachi, emphasized the importance of strengthening not just commercial bonds but also extending partnerships in education, research, tourism, and culture.
Chief Minister Patel reassured the Japanese representatives, highlighting India's commitment to producing world-class products under the 'Make in India' initiative and the conducive environment in Gujarat for Japanese industries. Rachi invited Patel to visit Japan to further cement the partnership.
