FlixBus and Paytm Join Forces to Boost Travel Network

FlixBus, a global travel tech firm, has partnered with fintech giant Paytm to expand its distribution network. This collaboration aims to drive growth for both companies by making FlixBus tickets available on the Paytm app, enhancing travel options and promoting eco-friendly bus travel.

Global travel tech firm FlixBus has partnered with fintech major Paytm to expand its distribution network, according to a joint statement released on Tuesday.

With this partnership, FlixBus tickets will now be available through the Paytm app, widening Paytm's travel options and reinforcing its position in the travel industry. At the same time, FlixBus will gain access to Paytm's extensive customer base and technological expertise.

'By encouraging more people to choose bus travel, we can significantly reduce emissions and make a positive impact on the environment. We believe it will significantly enhance the travel experience for millions of users,' said Surya Khurana, Managing Director of FlixBus India.

Shares of Paytm settled at Rs 459.75 apiece on the BSE, down 2 percent from the previous close.
