Tragic Accident on Mughal Road Claims Two Lives

A mother and her son lost their lives, and six others were injured when a car plunged into a deep gorge on Mughal Road in Poonch district, Jammu and Kashmir. The Belora car with eight passengers, traveling from Surankote to Srinagar, skidded off the road and crashed.

A mother and her son were killed and six others injured when a vehicle skidded off the Mughal road and rolled into a deep gorge in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district on Friday evening, officials said.

The Belora car, carrying eight passengers, was traveling from Surankote to Srinagar. At Pannar, the vehicle lost control and plummeted into a deep gorge, they confirmed.

The tragic accident claimed the lives of 34-year-old Ujla Begum and her nine-year-old son Anees. Six other passengers sustained injuries and have been hospitalized, officials reported.
