Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Mumbai on Saturday to inaugurate, dedicate, and lay the foundation stone for various infrastructure projects worth Rs 29,400 crore, including road, rail, and port developments, as well as the Mukhyamantri Yuva Karya Prashikshan Yojana for youth skill development.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Mumbai on Saturday to launch or dedicate a series of ambitious projects worth approximately Rs 29,400 crore, according to an official release from the Prime Minister's Office. The visit will commence with a series of events at the NESCO Exhibition Centre in Goregaon, Mumbai, focusing on infrastructure developments in the road, railways, and ports sectors.

At around 5:30 PM, Modi will reach the NESCO Exhibition Centre to kickstart these initiatives. Following that, at around 7 PM, he will visit the Indian News Service (INS) Secretariat at Bandra Kurla Complex to inaugurate the INS Towers, a modern office space set to become the media nerve center in Mumbai. Among the significant projects, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for the Rs 16,600 crore Thane Borivali Tunnel, which will create a direct link between Western Express Highway and Thane Ghodbander Road, significantly reducing travel time.

Other critical projects include the Rs 6,300 crore Goregaon Mulund Link Road (GMLR), which will provide connectivity between Western Express Highway and Eastern Express Highway. Additionally, he will lay the foundation stone for the Kalyan Yard Remodelling and Gati Shakti MultiModal Cargo Terminal at Turbhe, improving train operations and generating employment opportunities. Modi will also dedicate new platforms at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus and extended platforms at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, alongside launching the Mukhyamantri Yuva Karya Prashikshan Yojana aimed at tackling youth unemployment through skill development.
