Canon Central and North Africa (CCNA) is proud to announce its partnership with Greenwood House School in Lagos, Nigeria, through the Canon Academy Juniors Programme. This collaborative initiative aims to inspire and empower young learners by igniting their passion for photography through engaging and interactive sessions led by certified Canon trainers.

Rashad Ghani, B2C Business Unit Director at Canon Central and North Africa, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, “Our partnership with Greenwood House School through the Canon Academy Juniors Programme underscores our commitment to nurturing creativity and talent. These workshops provide a wonderful opportunity for youngsters to discover a new hobby, develop their creative skills, and cultivate a lifelong love for photography.

What sets this collaboration apart is the direct hosting of two photography workshops at Greenwood House School, integrating the programme into the school environment for a collaborative learning experience.

The workshops were tailored for two age groups: 8-12 years old and 13-16 years old, ensuring age-appropriate content. Each cycle consisted of four sessions held from May 4th to May 25th and from June 1st to June 22nd.

Participants engaged in practical training, learning camera basics, modes, framing, landscape photography, portraiture, visual storytelling, and more. This experience provided them with valuable skills and boosted their confidence in photography, offering a gateway to explore their creativity.

The workshops will culminate in a captivating photo exhibition at Greenwood House School, showcasing the best works of the students and celebrating their creativity and achievements.
