'Fresh products have a good demand in the US and other overseas markets,' stated Jayen Mehta, Managing Director of GCMMFL. Plans to include products such as dahi, lassi, buttermilk, cream, and paneer in their US offerings have been set in motion.
Addressing the 116th Annual General Meeting of Indian Merchants' Chamber, Mehta emphasized India's growing prominence in the global dairy industry, predicting the nation to account for one-third of global milk output within the next decade. Amul is also eyeing expansions into Canada and other international markets.
