Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Thursday flagged off the first flight of the newly launched intra-state air service, 'PM Shri Paryatan Vayu Seva,' from Bhopal to Jabalpur.

The initiative aims to connect key cities such as Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Ujjain, Rewa, Khajuraho, and Singrauli by air. To encourage initial use, a 50% fare discount is available for the first 30 days.

The Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board operates the service in partnership with M/s Jet Serv Aviation Private Limited (Flyola). Currently, six-seater twin-engine planes are in use, with plans to introduce larger aircraft if demand increases, according to MPTB principal secretary Sheo Shankar Shukla.
