Chinese stocks open higher as Shanghai Composite Index gains by 0.1 pct

Chinese stocks opened higher on Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.1 per cent to open at 2,723.72 points.
The Shenzhen Component Index opened 0.2 per cent higher at 8,062.46 points, Xinhua news agency reported.
