Netflix famous series 13 Reason Why based on the mysterious novel by Brian Yorkey has cancelled the premiere of the second season amid Santa Fe High School shooting tragedy.

Netflix in a statement said: "Our hearts are with the victims of the Santa Fe High School Shooting, and with all victims of gun violence. In light of today’s tragedy, we are cancelling the 13 Reasons Why S2 premiere event tonight."

Nine students along with a teacher were killed on Friday morning at Santa Fe High School in Santa Fe, Texas. A seventeen-year-old student allegedly opened bullets with a shotgun and a revolver. The alleged shooter, Dimitrios Pagourtzis is now facing charges for the murder and is in jail.
