UNESCO to conduct first Partners Forum on 11 and 12 September 2018 in Paris
The purpose of the event is to increase knowledge between donors and partners about voluntary contributions to UNESCO and to encourage existing and new partners to support and engage with UNESCO on its programme.
UNESCO to hold its first Partners’ Forum on 11 and 12 September 2018.A two day meeting in Paris comprised of a half day plenary meeting, focusing on the resource requirements of the Organization for 2018 and 2019 and prospects for partnership and half a day of thematic forums in the afternoon of Day 1 and the morning of Day 2 examining concrete opportunities for partnership in various areas of UNESCO’s programme and specific resource mobilization approaches.
The purpose of the event is to increase knowledge between donors and partners about voluntary contributions to UNESCO and to encourage existing and new partners to support and engage with UNESCO on its programme. All UNESCO partners will be invited, including Member States, Multilateral organization, UN agencies and the private sector.
