Sergei Mingazov, a journalist for the Russian edition of Forbes magazine, has been detained on suspicion of spreading "fake news" about the Russian army, Russia's Forbes magazine said on its website on Friday.

Konstantin Bubon, Mingazov's lawyer, said his client was now in a detention centre in the far eastern city of Khabarovsk. There has been no contact with the journalist, Forbes reported.
