Advocate and Bharatiya Janata Party leader Ujjwal Nikam on Wednesday underscored the critical nature of Operation Sindoor, describing it as retribution for the Pahalgam terror attack. In an interview with ANI, Nikam highlighted the cultural significance of the operation's code name 'Sindoor', emphasizing its role in avenging the untimely loss inflicted upon daughters and mothers.
Further, Nikam pointed out that China has refrained from fully backing Pakistan, citing its own historical struggles with terrorism. 'China has previously suffered from terrorism, prompting their current stance against it. Hence, China hasn't extended wholehearted support to Pakistan. The Modi administration meticulously selected nine targets, stating that any continued aggression would incur a heavy price,' Nikam stated.
Nikam commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Indian Armed Forces for executing Operation Sindoor, hailing it as a 'necessary shock' to Pakistan. He assured that no civilians were targeted, expressing gratitude towards PM Modi's leadership and the army's precise targeting through international diplomacy.
